This page has been published to help guide you to a successful navigation experience of the Advanced–Driver–Development web pages.
Unless you have clicked on a link that you found published on another website, and that link has taken you to a specific topic page, your first arrival point at the Advanced–Driver–Development website will be the home page. To navigate the site from that point you will need to click with your mouse pointer on the listed items that appear within the menu system, as seen on the left of the page. These listed items are called Hyperlinks and are active sections of text that will open other web pages. From there onwards, whichever page you arrive at, you will find the same style menu system and in exactly the same position on the page.
You may find that some text hyperlinks are occasionally used within the text of the main body of a page, using words that fit into the meaning of the sentence in which they appear. This is to provide a clue as to what sort of information they link to. You can identify these hyperlinks, as the words that make up that link will be underlined and will look like this.
A great deal of effort has been applied to the Advanced–Driver–Development website to make it as easy to navigate and as user friendly as possible to use, and you should not experience difficulty in finding your way around. However, you may from time to time encounter hyperlinks that will take you to another website, and these pages may be linked either from text links or active images. To give you an example of an active image, look at the affiliates page and at the images that appear beneath the menu. If you hold your mouse cursor over one of these you will see it will change from a small arrow to a pointing hand. This will tell you that the image contains an active link.
When you are taken to another website, the link that took you there is contructed in such a way as to always leave the Advanced–Driver–Development website open in the background. This means that whenever you close that third party site, you are still at the point from which you accessed that site and upon the Advanced–Driver–Development website.
Some of the pages take the form of what are called Pop–Up pages, and the page you are reading now is an example of these. When you open a Pop–Up page it will open over the top of your previous page, but will be considerably smaller, like a little window over a bigger one. To close the Pop–Up page, and continue viewing the main site pages, just click on the ‘Close Window’ link, or upon the ‘X’ in the top right hand corner. You will then be viewing the previous page, still be open on your screen.
You will see we have catered for every eventuality navigation–wise, and if you ever get totally confused as to where you are, simply click on the image that is across the top of any page and you will be taken instantly back to the entry point of the whole site, the Home Page.
